Las instalaciones de fabricación de Bioplagen utilizan una planta fotovoltaica destinada a autoconsumo con una potencia de 80 kWn, la cual le permite elaborar sus productos con Energía Eléctrica Verde haciéndola merecedora del sello Green gold.
